It was great to see many of you at our last awards assembly. We are so proud of our students. Be sure to watch the Fernley Leader Courier for their pictures.  I’d like to thank Mrs. Chapin and Mr. Herget for arranging the ceremony and Mr. Doug for the music. It was so much fun!
It is still very cold and there are many coats in the lost and found. Please mark your child’s coat with a marker so we can return them.

Along with cold weather comes a lot of sickness. The school has an answering machine, so if you remember after school hours that you didn’t call to have your child excused, you may leave a message. Please try to save those 18 allowed absences for those unforeseen illnesses. If you take your child to the doctor or dentist, be sure to get a note and we can “exempt” the absence.
“Exempt” does NOT count toward the 18 days.

It is hard to believe that over half of this year is over. It has been a terrific year and I look forward to seeing you in days to come.  Thanks again for all of your support!
