November 2-November 20th Student Council is conducting a canned food drive. All non-perishable food items are welcome. All donated items will stay in the Silver Stage area.

22 classrooms, 5 computer labs/classrooms, 1 library, and 1 School-within-a-School credit recovery classroom/ PLATO lab.
Continually focuses on improved instructional techniques and student engagement strategies. T4S (Teach For Success) data validated this work; during the last observation, teaching time maximized increased by 38%, and 100% of staff were teaching to the posted objective
Hosts monthly Coyote Café, annual Shadow Day, Quarterly Family Movie Night
Proudly offers many co-curricular activities and opportunities to participate in after school programs.
-Afterschool tutoring, homework room, computer club, Academic Olympics, Future Cities, Spelling Bee, Counseling Groups, and Drama
-Sports offered include basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, track, and numerous intramural activities
-On average, 50% of students participate in sports at SSMS, and 34% participate in co-curricular activities.
